Your physical and mental health should always be a priority. But sometimes, it can feel like the focus is either on one or the other. That’s why we’re featuring TWO of the SRWC’s top programs this week that focus on both your physical and mental well-being!

If you’re interested in helping improve your mood, cognitive and psychological health in a natural way, then make sure to check out Beach Balance’s aromatherapy workshops. Known to improve health problems from anxiety to poor sleep to digestion issues, essential oils and aromatherapy have been used to treat symptoms of various ailments for generations!

Taking place on March 25 and April 29, this program is designed to inform you about the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. Participants also receive free essential oils and walk away with a new item each session.

Each session will take place in the Beach Balance office on the second floor of the SRWC from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

If you want to learn new skills in some of the newest fitness trends, then the SRWC’s instructional fitness classes are just for you! These low-cost, specialized classes are designed and taught by industry professionals and are open to all skill levels.

The SRWC offers a variety of classes such as Boxing 101, Pilates reformer & TRX which are designed for progression. These classes are smaller in size ranging from 5-20 participants, so members can get more individual attention during class. Joining these classes is a great way to meet new friends, learn new skills and get in shape for the summer!

The classes are offered in two six-week sessions each semester with classes being offered twice a week. Sign up now for the second session of classes which start the week of March 25 and end the week of May 13.

The classes during session two are as follows:

  • Boxing 101 (Mon/Wed 4-5pm & 5:30-6:30pm)
  • TRX Mix (Mon/Wed 6:30-7:30pm)
  • Pilates Reformer (Tues/Thur 12-1pm & 5-6pm; Wed/Fri 8:30-9:30am)
  • Muay Thai (Mon/Wed 7:30-8:30pm & Fri 12-2pm)
  • Total Body Shred (Tues/Thurs 6:45-7:45pm)
