The Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) is bringing energy, community, and celebration to the SRWC Entry Plaza during the Owen’s Condition for Tuition (OCFT) Celebration on Tuesday, April 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. This vibrant event highlights student wellness, active engagement in SRWC programs, and the personal achievements of individuals recognized for participating in one of the center’s most popular programs.
The OCFT Celebration honors participants at all levels—from earning a single point to completing all 50. The program encourages consistent movement, healthy habits, and intentional wellness practices, reinforcing SRWC’s commitment to supporting student well-being throughout the academic year. While the celebration is open to all students, opportunity drawings are reserved exclusively for OCFT participants.
Attendees can expect a high-energy atmosphere with complimentary food and refreshments, including shaved ice, shakes, and snacks. The event will feature upbeat music, interactive games, and a variety of inflatables filling the Entry Plaza, creating a dynamic space for social connection and fun. Adding to the festive vibe, a special Hawaiian dance performance will transport attendees to a tropical-inspired celebration.
Interactive experiences will include henna and airbrush tattoos, balloon art, caricature drawings, and a photo booth for capturing memorable moments. Opportunity prize drawings will feature prizes ranging from Bluetooth speakers to surfboards. Participants who completed all 50 OCFT points will be entered into the grand prize drawing for one free semester of undergraduate tuition. Presence at the event is required to be eligible for the drawings, so don’t miss out!
The Owen’s Condition for Tuition Celebration reflects the energy and momentum of SRWC programming while recognizing students’ commitment to wellness. It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate achievements and get inspired to continue participating in SRWC programs throughout the semester.
