Beach Balance is so excited to host our first-ever book club starting on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the SRWC East Lawn! We will be reading “Emotional Agility” by Dr. Susan David, a guide on how to navigate our emotions and thrive in our personal and professional development.
Registration for the event is FREE, and the first 20 participants will receive a FREE copy of the book. Participants will also receive goodies in the weeks leading up to the event and weekly check-in emails. To secure your spot, please fill out the interest form on Events & Orgs. If you miss out on the free copy, you can still participate by purchasing the book on your own.
“Emotional Agility” teaches readers how to embrace change, align actions with their core values, and be resilient when faced with challenges. Dr. Susan David emphasizes the importance of understanding our inner thoughts and feelings to ultimately make meaningful changes that contribute to our overall well-being. During the book club, we will discuss the four key concepts outlined in the book which guide us in adapting our behavior and enhancing our emotional intelligence.
