Each year, at the Owen’s Condition For Tuition (OCFT) finale celebration, one lucky student receives a check for a semester of free tuition. Everyone who participates is invited to the event, which provides free food, fun activities and opportunity drawings for other awesome prizes before pulling the name of the tuition winner as the grand finale.

Love Your Body Week (LYBW) is back this semester starting April 4. LYBW is a week dedicated to body positivity, self-acceptance and overall wellness. Events throughout the week focus on body-positive ideals, which can assist in building confidence as well as encouraging people to love and accept themselves.

Intramural leagues and tournaments made their return for the first time since the spring of 2020. With roughly 600 participants in both leagues and tournaments, this semester’s turnout was a huge success.

Intramural leagues are back again this semester! If you were not able to join us in the fall, be sure to grab some friends and create a team before registration closes on Feb. 25. If you are not sure if you will have enough registrants to create a team, you have the option to join a league as a free agent.

Wherever you are, whenever it is – you can log a 30-minute workout or wellness session into the online form, building towards the goal of 50 points for a shot at free tuition. What you may not know is that points can be earned in limitless ways.

The human body is an amazing instrument. Our bodies contain over 600 muscles and 200 bones! On our “good days,” our bodies can run a mile, lift weights and hike up mountains. On our “bad days,” our bodies still do amazing things; like pumping 2,000 gallons of blood and breathing in 11,000 liters of air per day!
